Caister - that brings back memories - Caister soul weekends - can't remember it being sunny tho' - not that we'd have noticed. That's showing my age

I like gt yarmouth, good place for things to do. booked a cheapy haven caravan while back right next to yarmouth racecourse. site was a bit chavvy but lots to do in yarmouth and norfolk.
I remember going to ladbrokes holiday camp and loving it years ago and also holiday in hemsby.

i was in caister a fortnight ago at the haven holiday park,great week caravan next to the beach and the weather was fantastic.....shame i had to come home travelled around the coast to cromer and even ventured into suffolk for the air display

don't you think hemsby is stuck in the 70's,we travelled there and it reminded me of hi di hi (however you spell it)

lol it was in the 70's when I went! I have a photo of me as a kid sitting on a dolphin ride outside some amusements. must of been about 1974.
I spent most of my childhood going to Walton on the Naze and still go down the caravan in Clacton every few weeks

thats where i am on the haven site, about 30 seconds away from the beach!!! im off to look for that dolphin and take a pic.....or shall i just go back and lay on the sand?
