Tag change from UK2?

I'm trying to move a name away from UK2.

Does anyone know how to do this? Their website has lots of info on moving to UK2 but I can't see anything about moving away.

I think from memory that if the .co.uk has been with them for less than two years then they will charge you a fee to change the Tag, else it's free.

Uk2 now seems to have humans working there as I got a reply, and a very quick reply.

Yes, within two years they charge GBP 12.99 plus vat and so I went through Nom at GBP 10 plus vat.

yeah i did a bulk tag change of about 400+ domains with nominet recently.
cost about £20 in total. nominet were highly efficient it has to be said

one useful thing, uk2 have actually added a freephone number:

choose option 4, billing & if you're very lucky you'll get through to a lovely young lady called nadine
she has given me renewed hope in the company.
she sorted some of my probs there & then

UK2's one single act which p1ssed off a large number of domainers was to charge that ridiculous exit fee. I'd have possibly stayed with them had it not been for that.

It is sad to see that they still (albeit in a reduced form) have it in place in 2007, when most others did away with it years ago. They really need to get rid of it for good!

agreed. they just spun me the line 'it's in the terms & conditions' if inside 2 years.
i just told them to ask themselves, why i was leaving.
i've moved 400 .uk's & want to move the tlds
I said they have major security flaws, was unable to push names, they never answered tickets etc etc
I said they've broke their terms & conditions , so it's irrelevant.
I'll complain to tucows & icann + their md.
I wont be paying the exit fees, uk2.net are bloody criminals on this
