Just completed mine with the assistance of a accountant, anyone struggling and leaving it to the last minute!

Finished mine Friday afternoon. Pain in the arse. At least domains names don't have a fixed asset class & rules, so they're easier to work with than physical stock.

Completed mine yesterday. I've alread started working on 2009-2010 as i'm tired of leaving things so late year after year. I'm not the most organised person really, so it's always a massive hassle that I usually put off much longer than I should.

yep, you've lost me there, thats where the accountant comes in I suppose!

I forgot to mention the important details "I finished them by signing the work done by the accountant" was what I meant by "finished them". So my statement above was my inexpert re-warbling of what he told me he'd done, not from any knowledge of accountancy I possess.

Just thought I'd say in case anyone mistakenly thought I knew anything about it.

I don't lol

I finished mine on Friday, in the same way. Signed and paid. I aint a scooby do when it comes to a tax return. To many rules and to much at stake if you get it wrong for me.

Finished mine last week. Have some accounting 'knowledge' after developing/supporting accounting systems for years so completed 90% & the accountant filld in the blanks & signed them off.

Working non 2009/10 now... want them done asap this time.

Finished and filed mine months ago... Back in October I think... This finanical years return I have completed up to December 09... Only four months of figures to go and that will be done too...

I prefer to keep on top of it, left it to the last minute in the past and its just hassle and stress!...

Rich

not handed mine in yet, oops, need to do it tomorrow, hope i dont get too much of a fine.

Just waiting back on my accountant then can get it all done.

Need to be much more organised for the next tax year!

You'll get an automatic £100 fine for late submission and pay interest on any tax owed for every day it's not paid after 31st Jan.

The important thing is to pay any tax owed before 28 Feb otherwise you'll get a 5% surcharge charged on top. And another 5% surcharge if it's still not paid by 31 July.

Traditionally I've always submitted mine on the 31st Jan so quite pleased with myself that I managed it on the 27th Jan this year. ;)
