Whenever you're in doubt, try both forms on Google. In this case, there are 4,190,000 results for "taxis" and just 45,500 for "taxies" so clearly taxis is correct.

Google is not necessarily "correct"

Webster says..Inflected Form(s): plural tax·is /-sEz/; also tax·ies

Google just goes by the numbers, but offers you taxis on taxies

what about...taxi's...156,000!

some people see...tax is but want tax ees.

Googles results of 4,190,000 for Taxis suggests that is the way most people will spell it, therefore your alternative spelling has very little value compared to the 'correct' spelling.

UK overture also shows a paltry 7 searches a month for 'taxies' without the extension, 0 with the extension.
