Gods of the Internet...

Hope you can help me with this one...

I need to develop a load of websites and I'm rubbish at web design .. frontpage is easy but awful and Dreamweaver is too complicated. Is the best option to sign up with someone like this: http://www.webeden.co.uk or similar? ... and if I do, will I suffer SEO penalties with shared IP addresses, shared templates etc?

... Or does anyone know a decent and SIMPLE web design program that isn't iWeb, Adobe Go Live, Dreamweaver and doesn't cost the earth that can do what these sites offer without having to pay a monthly subscription?

In anticipation of a Godly response

With Thanks

Will

Definitely worth a free download to see what its capable of...

Thanks Fish

Any other suggestions?

Look at using one of the popular content management systems such as wordpress, drupal or joomla tons of great templates available makes building a lot of sites much easier I find.

Do any of these represent google penalties for use of common templates?

Hi guys

Thanks for the responses....

I've downloaded and tried Artisteer with a view to using it with Wordpress or Joomla... Looks like a great combination!

One question, though... I'm trying to have all my web development on my Mac and it looks like Artisteer have had a Beta version out there for some time but not made it a 'proper version'... anyone have any experience with the Mac version?

Thanks

Will

the (paid for) mac version is what I use, no probs so far ......

Which version are you using?.. It looks like the latest version 3.0 has a few bugs....

Also am I downloading 2.6 'release candidate'? .. then upgrade the version with updates?

Huge thanks
