To paraphrase: "The idiots will always be with us". It's a handy "shock, horror, outrage" button for the media to push, so it's sadly not too surprising that they keep conveniently mis-defining cybersquatting...

In the "olden days" they would have printed their own commentary alongside the quote, and used it merely as "colour" for the article. Nowadays though "opinions = news = 'fact'".

Interesting the 10 millionth, The media harks on cyber squatting, sharks, extortionist etc they don’t hark on about the 9 odd million that are absolutely crap registration (nominet really should impose some sort of idiot test when letting people register names or drug or alcohol testing ) Its fine to register Iwanttobuyredplateintipperary.whatever but register something useful or you could actually sell you’re scum of the earth lol
