The .UK revolution

Confusing person. Weren't you dead set against .uk at one time? Now it's the polar opposite? You've seen the light, so to speak.

I spotted this ad using a .uk on the telly. Air up is a German brand which explains the hyphenated domain as they love a dash in Deutschland.

I'm a graphic designer and I usually camel case multi-word domains because it makes them instantly readable. I do the same with hashtags.

I hardly ever venture out into the world, but every time I do now I see .UK names. That was in Magnet.

Looks like they couldn't even be bothered to register the .co.uk.

Probably cause they are a foreign brand and don't know that .co.uk is the most popular.
 
I’m sure most of these will have been dropped long ago - but you get the idea on why it’s sometimes it’s a good idea :D
