Touching on what Frank said here about bing http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/465639-post22.html

I find I've got many sites with great serp's in Bing too, but they do not deliver results or traffic compared to the same position in G.

Is this down to bings pure lack of market share or just something else to do with type of user etc?

I'm a bit of a layperson when it comes to SEO but I'd say it's a combination of both. I definitely think that market share comes into play, I've seen plenty of IT illiterate people go to Bing and just use it to search for Google where they'll perform their actual search.
Then there's those that have a high level of competency that choose to use the Google biased Firefox and Chrome. It seems Bing will only be used by some people using IE (through choice or corporate IT policy) and those that choose to use it for unknown reasons (odd people in my eyes!).

Just my 2p worth and definitely not an authoritative viewpoint.

Interestingly, I just searched for one of my sites with little SEO, it appear on page 5 in Google, top result in Bing

God knows why... It's just useless for driving any traffic!!

If its UK searches likely down to sheer market share Google basically are search in the UK

Mainly market share.. You can also look down the product/ service, suitability, demand etc compared with Bing user demographics, Look at Nielsen Report etc but take with a pinch of cynicism

If you're getting Yahoo traffic then you should be benefitting from Bing as Yahoo Search is outsourced to Bing...
