Thanks for that! I'm going to take my 15 year old son and his friend. Hopefully he will change from moderately interested in this business to enthusiastic!

No more adult passes left by the look of it???

One of the panelists Kieran O'Neill was at my secondary school. At 15, he sold his website holylemon.com for $1.25m.

I didnt know him personaly, but its funny as I remember the site doing its rounds around the school before it built up any momentum!

Did you go in the end?

Thanks to 88MEDIA for sorting me out with some free tickets but unfortunatly I left after 15 mins...

It was cringe worthy. Reminded me of when your at school and kids are being made to do presentations in front of the class.

It seemed to me that it was more of a networking/meet up for all the kids. The talks were just a load of embarrassed nerds with no social or presentation skills :D

sorry to hear that , i didn't manage to get down , i watched the GigLocator - Never Spend A Night In pitch on live stream which i thought was good but that was about it, seems to be really mixed reviews from what i have seen on twitter ,

Well I would have to disagree, there was some very bright young talent at the event. Were you really expected polished presentations from a bunch of teenage geeks?

Michael Dunlop a guy earning six figures per year working one hour a day made a classic statement......

"I might look young but actually I am quite old, I am twenty"

Anyway it had the desired effect. My fifteen year old son gained a lot of inspiration which is what I had hoped. He has made three very good contacts whom he is already building a rapport with.

he hasn't got long then! :)

And it's becoming more and more apparent to me that you need to earn a LOT more than 6 figs a year to retire at an early age. Unless you earn 6 figs and live like you earn low 5 figs, for a good number of years that is.
