Hi can anybody recomend good tools to check PR just caught a domain need to work out if its PR is valid

Thanks Jay they both report the rank the same as the toolbar
On the first site the circle under Validation just spins and spins.
The site is DMOZ listed and wayback looks like it was some sort of comunity project hopefully this may be the real deal.

PR checking tools aren't what you need to look at, they wont validate anything, you need to look under the bonnet.

Ideally you could use spyglass, that way you can bring up the links, whether they are intact, the PR of those linking pages and the number of outbound and internal links.

Or for a quick check you could look on opensiteexplorer and check some of the top links are still there.

Also after checking the links you could update on your sales thread with the OSE authority and include if it has links from authority sites like .gov, ac.uk, bbc, national news etc, makes sites a lot more appealing
