Trade Doubler have created a very nice little Christmas Best Seller mini-site tool to allow you to "easily" put up a web page with some top seller products from multiple vendors.

The problem is that if you have not joined each vendor in the script then their header shows but not their products.

Does anyone know an easy way to Join a new vendor just by searching for them by their vendor ID?

I find myself going round in circles on the TD site - does anyone else find it a painful user interface to use?

agreed the interface is crap..

If you have a list of the vendors just use the search facility on the left sidebar.. it dosn't have to be perfect match.. search for post & it will bring up post office, search for jd and it will bring up jd sports program etc... it's an arse I know...

I think this is most of the vendors using the promotion

no probs..
just checked the minisite details.. looks like you can also add or remove merchants that you wish to promote by modifying loaddata.js. just delete the merchants your not using until your accepted for their program..

Yes I saw that, except I wasnt registered with any of them

As soon as you apply, even though it says "under consideration", the products appear.

The application email says this to be so. But if you are rejected then the links wont credit you with any sales.

Always best to wait for the proper confirmation to come through I think.

I would just go ahead with it....at least it will be up and running & getting indexed etc....

In my experience most programs are accepted, "I've never been turned down.. even with new domains"... oh.. I wouldn't wait for the email from tradedoubler though.. just keep checking your account, you should see an "accepted" mark against the program after a few days...

I have sent a mail to Tradedoubler asking if it would be possible for them to provide a request form to apply en masse to ALL of the advertisers/programs included in the top seller html page at one time.Whether they will or not remains to be seen,

Let us know what they say DG. It is such an obvious feature to have that I am surprised they need prompting to provide it.
