Hi all,

I've recently caught a LLLL.co.uk - which it turns out are the initials/abbreviation of a well-known investment bank. I've checked 'ipo.gov' for a trdemark but am not quite sure what I'm looking for and would appreciate some advice.

I'd like to know whether:
1 - I'm okay to offer it to them?
2 - I should just stick it up for sale and hope they bite?
3 - I'd be better off without it?

If anyone's interested in helping - please reply here or PM and I'll get back to you with the name.

Thanx,
fuzzer

Do not offer it them, that will put you at a major disadvantage should they decide to take action.

In my opinion (and without knowing the domain), unless it's a word unique to them then you basically have a 4 letter acronym and should be ok owning it and listing it for sale, just don't park it on a page with adverts.

The above should keep you safe, that doesn't mean you won't get hassle over it!
