firstly, if this is in the wrong section, then apologies, please move to where you feel appropriate!

I have agreed to sell a .co.uk domain to someone in America but when I asked for TAG, I didn't get a positive answer! I have asked them to open a UKreg account so I can transfer control of the domain over that way but they keep telling me they've signed up but can't log into it.

The money has been paid into Escrow.

can I just send the Nom paperwork to him and then get Nominet to sort it out?

Any advise please would be great as I'm pulling my hair out here!

cheers
Justin

Explain that they need to get an account with someone like 123-reg, then transfer over to them there. I once even opened an account for them, did the transfer so it got around that issue.

There shouldn't be a problem with them sending the forms back to Nom - just takes a bit longer.

I think the easiest thing would be for you to create an account for them, tell them the password etc. and then they can change it when you've pushed the domain over...

Do not know if it helps, but look up MarbleHost.com - they have interesting options relatively domain name transferring. I suppose they have something that might be interesting for you. .co.uk is availiable among their names.
