Transfering .co.uk with .uk rights ??

I know it's probably been covered in the forum umpteen times, but I haven't been on here much lately and couldn't see the answer. So please excuse my ignorance with the question.
Just looking for confirmation here..

If i transfer .co.uk domain which holds rights to the .uk will the rights be automatically made available to the new owner?
Or should I register the .uk and transfer both to keep it safe?

Yes the rights transfer with the co.uk to the new owner, so if they want to then register it themselves in the next 5 years or so they can.

You don't need to register it.
