Hi ratboy,

What's your view (or anyone else's) on the use of ampersand (&). It seems to me that 'B&B' for example is a generic as it gets, but do people frown on the use of symbols like '&' the way they do on hyphens etc? In which case, would you prefer the more wordy, 'BandB'?

Well BandBs isn't B&Bs but thats been covered in an earlier thread. My view is if Mrs Dorris Whatever in Edinburgh can't type it in it's no good.

Hypens are out too unless you have the unhypened version too.
