As who knows today whether the .co.UK or .UK is going to win in the long run.
I think that's already settled, .uk will establish itself given the way Nominet have decided to launch it. Big brands will adopt it, with a big advantage being shorter direct type ins on mobiles.
.uk is so much better on the end of a brand name, that's what will sway it.
Google.uk BBC.uk etc
I'd say companies may even use the .uk "switch" to relaunch sites or draw attention. Bing.uk the first big advertising campaign?
