After my first disaster with surgon co uk I thought I would run this one by you guys.

Les, the local exacts for the term "UK motors" is 140

To get 301,000 you have the setting for "Locations and languages" set to show ALL countries, it should be set to United Kingdom only, and 301,000 is the broad searches, you need to set the Match types to exact, nothing else matters for .UK domains.

You need to do that each time you use the keyword tool, as it automatically defaults to the broad setting each time you visit that site.

I did exactly the same as Les on more than one occasion when I first stated using the keyword tool, thought I'd found some very high exact names until I found out it was set to broad search, and kept forgetting to set it to exact each time.

Yeah I've made that mistake plenty of times in the beginning, I think most have.

Its not doing too bad on sedo for hits in the few days I have owned it, better than some of the domains I have had for years and dont use now.

Back to the drawing board!
