Hi, I have a buyer for a .co.uk domain asking me to confirm the right to the .uk will be transferred also. I know the answer is yes but as this is my first sale after the launch of the .uk, I could do with some clarification about the process. Thanks

Put the .uk version in the whois and it will say who has rights

Thanks for the reply. No, I own the right to the .uk without doubt and I know it will be transferred with the .co.uk transfer. The buyer wants me to confirm the right goes with the transfer but this is new to me.

The right stays with the domain

If you transfer the domain to him, he can register the .uk (as long as you don't register it before you transfer it)
