I appreciate this is covered elsewhere - thanks Khalid etc - but the imminent three month deadline means I thought I would explicitly call this out here. Please shout if you think I have got the wrong end of the stick. I have used this text elsewhere :

"Another factor has come to light. Nominet posted two UK trademark applications on 9 August 2012 http://www.ipo.gov.uk/types/tm/t-os/t-find/t-find-adp?propnum=0751643001 - the three month opposition period concludes before the end of this week, so please urgently consider whether you wish to object to either of them.

Ignoring the irony around the current ambiguity over the future of .co.uk, http://www.ipo.gov.uk/types/tm/t-os/t-find/t-find-number?detailsrequested=C&trademark=2631283 appears to be a perfectly prudent attempt to protect "A great place to be".

However, the application for a trademark for ".co.uk" under http://www.ipo.gov.uk/types/tm/t-os/t-find/t-find-number?detailsrequested=C&trademark=2631157 is one that I really do not understand yet and about which I feel significant unease (especially because of the classes involved). The imminent expiry date makes me especially uneasy.

Regards, David Collison (solely in a Weald Domains capacity)"

Thumbs up, I think it needs to be done in a proper form.

I'll probably do this tomorrow
