Hi all.
I’ve seen various posts where it’s been said that using the ‘in’ word doesn’t do you any favours. Then again I’ve seen such domains being offered for sale with good money being asked for them.
Can anyone offer their opinion on the pro’s and con’s of using either versions?

I think it's strength depends entirely on what the first word is and how natural sounding it is as a phrase - I mean "hotels in london", "jobs in london" for example are both very strong and good alternatives to "london hotels" or "london jobs"

On the other hand something like "taxis in London" sounds a bit naff and is not even vaguely in the same league as "London taxis"

My understanding is that G and most likely others ignore the word 'in' so from an purely SEO perspective, it is irrelevant. SEO aside, I agree with the comments made by Stellar.
