Does it have any value at all?

I've used this Sedo price suggestion thing at their site and they are saying it is worth around $3700 US ?

Do any of you use the price suggestion tool there? Or is that as useful as a chocolate fire guard. I'm still fairly new to this whole domaineering thing so any help/thoughts would be much appreciated.

One for an educational site, potentially a global audience, but its all about content and that's quite tricky with the variations in what people are searching for in relation to a 'video tutorial'.

Would it be better used as a tutorial guide to video software/hardware, or a directory of video tutorials on various subjects?

Its value lies in how you would make money from any site, IMO I don't see much value in the domain undeveloped, as its not a straight commercial term, $3700 would be way over the top as a valuation...

I have also used the 'free' sedo valuation tool with very little success.

It would be nice to figure out what process they use in working out how much the domain is worth. I mean understandably its just a guestimate tool. But something thats so far out. It just doesn't seem worth using.

Anyone else use this tool?
