Wanted: Domain Appraisal Vieste(dot) co.uk - offer rec'd from Italy

Vieste is a cute little holiday destination in Italy. Having done a bit of homework I found out that about 10-15% of their tourists from outside the coutry come from the UK.

I got an offer through my semi-developed page, and the contact is from within Italy, though not in Vieste.

The offer is not enough to entice me, but its close enough to warrant a counter. What would you ask?

Foreign places, as a .co.uk dont do it for me, unless there is a massive stream of UK visitors to that particular location;

benidorm.co.uk
marbella.co.uk

etc.

You say yourself that Vieste is a 'little' place, therefore I dont place much value on it at all. I would take whatever I was offered, although I dont think I would have regd it in the first place.

I have developed a growing stream of traffic through some minimal work...80-120 uniques and about $4-6/month. So I guess like any other name in any ext I'll ask for some multiple of revenue or revenue potential, as opposed to trying to sell on the merit of the name itself.

I own Cairo, it's a popular UK destination and has a little traffic going through it so it makes $1-$3 per day - I bought it for just over £1k.

Never heard of Vieste Jackal but geo domains usually garner value based upon tourism or population, unless as you say you can base it on earnings.
