It's only me then, who's noticed for the last few years the trend of: domain appears in a sales section, and then funnily enough, someone always comes along a week or so later posting in the wanted section looking for that exact 'type' of domain

Not noticed it myself, but then i tend to ignore the 'wanted' section.

Do you have any examples? Is it established members or newbies doing it?

I'd be interested in the "examples". I also don't really look at wanted unless its an established member.
