May be old news to some, but not my wife!
My 11 year old needed a passport renewal, so my wife went online, and at the top of the results was a website passports-uk.co.uk
It implies that the fee is for the full passport application and submission (yes, she did not read the light grey print at the bottom of the page).
Anyway, form came, filled, and she asked me to go to the Post Office to get it checked and send it.
Then I was told that we had been scammed out of £69! And that there is no online full passport application service.
Looking around there are several of these sites - so be careful.
Looking in to the Whois for the site, it is run by UK company who is a Nominet member and supposed Bing accredited professional (!?)
I'll check those details again and if so, several letters will be sent out!
Anyway - do not apply for a passport online! You have been warned.
