I have just set up another site. I live in Tenerife so am concentrating on Tenerife based sites for the most part (have 2 more I have just reg´d

This is the latest one Tenerife Estate Agents – Tenerife Estate Agents

Keyword results:
[tenerife estate agents] 1 - 3 €1.63 4,400 / 1,600

Wordpress for SEO and Open Realty for listings along with a brand new plugin which merges allows Open-realty to be embedded in Wordpress.

I havent quite mastered the Realty software yet, still having a few teething troubles and so far no documentation so there are a couple of glitches.

Interested in thoughts on the search results, the look and layout of the site.
I have Adsense on there as from today as I am getting a steady stream of traffic - didnt expect this!
Was getting traffic with almost nothing on the site.

Now have to populate the database which is going to take forever!
(I am noob so expect there will be some basic noob errors there)

Thanks for looking ;)

I'm not sure about this line:

"Of all the things a client needs from an estate agent in Tenerife, the one thing they need most is the one thing most lacking - honesty."

I know what you're trying to say but it sets the wrong tone.

Regarding general design, remember that it should be evident exactly what you do within 5 seconds of landing on the page. In your case I advise:

- A tagline under your logo top left.

- 3 to 5 bullet points explaining the major points of your business as the starting text on your home page.

For more about this, you'll find a section on Conversion Rate Optimisation at WebRef.eu. Learning about this subject is well worth the effort.

Thanks for the feedback.
Content is not a problem so far as information but yeah, I certainly have trouble being concise and deciding what to open with , what the first thing thing someone reads should be.
I think the problem is I tell people what I think is most important rather than actually "selling something"
I´ll have a good read through your site. Not a topic I have covered thus far.

On the subject of setting a wrong tone, firstly it is a den of vipers over here! the agents are really, really bad! There´s no exaggeration amongst what I have written, its tame if anything.
i understand what you mean though but I dont really want to be just another estate agent, I would rather the site be geared towards safety, due diligence etc.
I have a blog ready to go so most of that stuff will be covered in there.
I took my lead from some of the blogs that advertise about making money online with. i generally pay a lot more attention now when someone tells me a product is rubbish - rather than over selling it and singing it´s praises and I have seen a lot of marketers doing this.
Will it work in my chosen field? I really don´t know. My fear is that potential clients will be too ignorant about the dangers and not really appreciate the warning. A good, slick estate agent site spouting poo may be too much competition for me.
I´ll just have to see how it goes and test and adjust.
