Website Design Recommendations

I will needing a website designing in Jan next year - none of your Mini-site nonsense or anything like the crap that I churn out - but a proper, professionally looking number.

Without going into too much detail at this point, would anyone like to recommend any particular companies?

I will make a decent budget available.

Would only consider doing it myself with a pre built Joomla Template if there was one out there that met all criteria. I have looked on www.rockettheme.com, are there any others to try?
