or it could mean 'post meridiem' but most likely private message in this case.

If you look up in the top right of the forum, its a messaging system through the forum so you can send private messages to members not seen by everyone else.

If you click on the users name in a thread you will see "send a private message to......" there which you can click on to do so. Works the same way on most forums.
