domain.uk.com have been available for years. Strictly speaking they are subdomains of uk.com, and are sold by a private company, CentralNIC.

They aren't that popular here because of the fact they are subdomains and the renewal fees are very high.

    uk.com is not a TLD - it's just a .com.

Generic *.uk.com is therefore just a subdomain of .uk.com.

    I think that....

You may have hit on a really good idea that nobody else has thought of. The other posters might be jealous of your foresight. Perhaps you should max-out all your credit cards by buying as many of these .uk.com "domain names" as you can before other greedy people register them. You might be able to sell them for a lot of money and could become very rich as a result. I wish I was as clever as you.

Is that a listing price, or a confirmed sale?

What somebody wants for a domain and what it sells for (if it sells) are completely different things.

Why do you think those domains were available to register?

You've wasted your money. The domains are worth nothing.

It is not wise to speculate in markets you don't understand.

The fact that you could register a domain like antiques.uk.com in December 2013 says everything that needs to be said about the utter worthlessness of this "fake" extension!

You do realise that all you're buying is just a subdomain of the .com domain "uk.com" which is owned by a private company? .uk.com aren't real domains at all, although the way they're marketed seems to try as hard as possible to hide this crucial fact!

BDC-UK.com isn't even an example of a .uk.com - it is simply a hyphenated dotcom.

Given the location, my money's on this being Lee having a laugh with Google translate. Merry Christmas mate!

Could be an expensive learning process for you.

    you also own 8o3 net
    and others.

You have not discovered anything new.
Do you know what a sub domain is ?
If you do and want a punt on something then good luck to you go ahead.

Looks like you'll be paying out. I suggest you visit: https://manage.centralnic.com/support/view_whois and WHOIS antiques.uk.com or auto.uk.com or any of the other "domain names" the poster has been listing.

That's more worrying than funny then.

To the original poster, stop wasting your time registering .uk.com "domains" and stop wasting our time trying to sell them on here. They are worthless.
