some time ago, I registered the following :-

bingobillion.co.uk
bingobullion.co.uk
bingobullion.com
bullionbingo.co.uk
bullionbingo.com

You'll notice the missing one is bingobillion.com

did the whois sometime ago and didnt pay much attention to the spanish registrants.

However, this evening, i typed it in to the address bar, and it redirects to bingos.com

Bingos.com has the same registrant.

Do you think it is worth approaching them with the co.uk or do you think I'm asking for trouble, even though it was registered without knowledge of how the com is used?

A distinctive name like that is easy for them to claim rights on the trademark
If you regged before they setup then that's their problem.
If not then you have a problem especially if your site has been assoiciated with marketing bingo services/goods.

I regged petrolchainsaws.com and later out of curiosity typed in petrolchainsaws.co.uk to see if it was parked just to find out it's the actual mail order site of a chainsaw speciallist.
I regged with good faith plus mine is generic.
