Hi All, I've got the following domain I'd like to promote bodyarmour<>co<>uk

I've been looking into it and I first thought about the security industry, but when doing some research its very hard to find affiliate schemes for the products. Then I saw the term is also used for riders or motorbikes/mountain bikes.

What would you use it for?

There's plenty of affiliate programs for the cycle route, I'm using them already here Body Armour Cycle

Thanks Mally

As you say, the security industry is too niche and no affiliate programmes, so I would go the motorbike / mountain bike route.

If anything, I would be looking to build a site promoting the bike safety products and then look to sell the domain to a manufacturer. That's because I think body armour is going to be reasonably difficult to sell online because I imagine fit will be a pretty important consideration in the buying process.

Rgds

perhaps martial arts 'armour', gloves, mitts, pads etc?

although think it would take a lot of promoting etc

general sports and then split into sports - mtb, paintball, climbing etc

Hey Mally,

Myself and my family ride motorbikes, with my brother running a store.

Bike is definately the way to go if you cant find a security affiliate. The related searches point to it, its a prime online industry and is constantly growing.

school kids and parents.

Try find a cheap supplier of stab proof clothing and vests.

I see you can now buy hoodies, sweattops and even shirts that are stab proof.

But yeah motorbikes are probably the quicker earner lol

Body Armour

I would use this site, for security equipment, and poss martial arts stuff, there are a few security product affiliate sites, i came accross, ill have a search through my emails, and will pm when i find them

I'd second this. It is probably the best to make a dropship site for playwell products (martial arts). BTW dropship pays better

Don't waste your time with the camera body armour. I was a recent camera show and even the sales rep said its not really much a professional because it doesn't fit on camera's with a grip attached unless your butcher it, then its useless anyway.

Since its the pro's that spend the money, and anyone with more than a passing interest is likely to buy a grip, its small markets.
