Well, as I followed the farce carefully there were actually three timescales suggested. Three, four and five years. I have them all covered anyway ;)

If you have them all covered then your sorted, William Hill always do political betting, check if they do affs ,I bet they do (no pun intended)

ub40

I have always liked UB40, I know....

Then spotted ub40.org.uk, thought a forum or fan site might be good, not planning to make money on this one, just like the music so liked the domain, suggestions welcome...

You'll be fine if you don't have aff ads on there.

There's nothing wrong with UB40 (now and again)

I suppose one £x,xxx sale covers a lot of renewal fees :)

Yes, absolutely.

In general, if you imagine a domain name costs approx. 3 pounds a year, then if you sell a domain name for 1,000 pounds that's renewals paid for on 333 domains. Or another way of putting it is you're quids-in if you sell more than 0.33% of inventory a year. Of course, the sums look much better if the average sale price is higher than 1,000 pounds :)

I am doing quite a few without ads running now, and doing a few because I have an interest in the subject, it also lets me learn more skills, much easier to play around with sites without the need for ctr requirements.

Just got myself two furniture-related me.uk's.

sideboard
sofa-bed

Recently I was impressed by the me.uk ranking in SERPs. Therefore both go into affil now to pay for their reg fees ;) And we'll see how much they will be in couple of years time.

I always have to check your fresh reg lists to see if there's any to take off my waiting list but none today :)

I like noskit(s) and reclingarmchair(s)

What is pushbuttonstart all about ? is it an actual a start button ?

It's another car thingy I believe. It's an aftermarket part that gives you a "push button" to start your engine, instead of having to turn the key. Basically, I did a lot of mining in the performance/custom car niche by starting from ecommerce sites in the niche and going back and forth to the Google Keyword Tool, and that's one of the things that came out of the exercise...

My own favourites are superchargerkit(s) because they seem to typically cost from 3,000-6,000+ pounds each and they are THE terms for that particular item!

(BTW, I know literally NOTHING about cars - I probably couldn't even work out how to check the oil level - but the beauty of using the existing information provided by relevant ecommerce sites and then the GKT is I don't NEED to know anything at all in order to mine for domains!)

Last week I sold an Acorn member a list of availables for £75 and electrictiller#co#uk was on it, his fault for not regging quick enough ;)

synthology

New area of science - synthetic biology. Figured it might get abbreviated at some stage and failing that, would make a nice brandable.

.co.uk
