I've realised there are mainly three types of people on this forum?

Which are you?

1. The classic Domainer
(drop catcher, horder ;), rarely lets anything decent go for sale, has some old favourites saving for a rainy day, stays up late waking DAC )

2. The Domaineer - (leading the way, lots of New regs & emerging market speculation, younger of next generation, bit of a newb, learning fast after wasting dosh on initial shite reg's)

3. The Lurkers - (Maybe dabbles a bit with both the above but more interested in buying as investment or developing)

I think I would be somewhere between domainer and developer - I buy at trade and/or retail prices and develop into sites or mini sites and rank them for monetisation and/or leasing.

Domaineer ;)

Utter noob, lots of new regs, still asking stupid questions and totally delighted that I've managed to get a site making $1.50 a day :D

Any progress I've made so far is down to what knowledge I've picked up here tbh

I'd say I'm a bit of a lurker although I've fiddled about and coded a DAC client more for the technical challenge rather than the result (although a good result now and again would be appreciated:)).

It would be nice to generate a bit of income and catch the occasional half decent name now and then, but I'm not a threat to the serious guys.

Hmmm - Not sure I fit any of those

None of the above really fit what I'm doing well.

think I must be lurker... no interest in selling, only building portfolio/developing. Have tried drop catching (not good enough script I thnk), now more interested in buying direct from current owners via email..

Got Ya!

I knew it!

someone had to do it...

someone went and reg'd Domaineer/co.uk after I coined the phrase - I'm famous! :-D

(i should have reg'd it :( )

domain developer

Buy and catch, but happy to sell also

Develop the good ones into proper proper sites
