Who uses Reddit, with success?

Just wondering who uses Reddit and the format (i.e. type of blog post and type of reddit post driving the clicks) that works best?

Can't say I had much success with my last site (not really a niche you wait for an answer for), but my new one does good. Getting some real good feedback and engagement from anything I post.

Can't help but think there could be a format that works better though.

I think it works best for people who have built up a real reputation on there over years and have a big following of people.

People who create sites like "ship your enemies glitter" etc have made big money in short spaces of time due to posting on reddit and social media. If thousands of people on reddit think the idea is fun then the idea can blow up over night!
