Whois lagging?

I registered (or thought I registered) a domain about 12 minutes ago, but it hasn't shown in the Whois yet. Has anyone else noticed a slowdown?

Apart from the Nominet emails, nothing.

They say it will be like this until the 1st week of June.

It's all to do with the pre-system upgrade data reconstruction I think. Lots of bulk requests and higher server loads.

Expect it to be worse after 29th when they start the data merging.
