WHOIS privacy services

Hi All

I was registering a domain at GoDaddy, and the option for their WHOIS privacy service came up.

Using such a service does appeal to me, but I didn't, because I wasn't sure whether this could cause me future legal problems by having the domain registered to the proxy company.

Does anyone have any thoughts regarding the possible legal consequences of using a domain privacy proxy service?

Technically I guess that if DomainsByProxy Inc went into liquidation etc then there could be a problem ,at least until the liquidator sorted it out, plus its in the USA so that another problem. Whether it happens or not is another matter.
