Hi,

I've built up a domain portfolio of around 100 names and was looking to see if they could be sold in a bulk package. A search on Google brought me here but when I tried to list the site names it states I need 20 posts before I can do so.

Does anyone know why this is so?

Do I need to post 20 nonsensical posts before I can post the one I want to?

I only have 2 domains to list but I have the same problem.

(18 posts to go now :) )

maybe rather than posts new users should have to do a certain aount of opinions/appraisals so the new posts are more useful?

The reason why you would have to post is to prevent people coming on and spamming the forum or using it for backlinks.

But what good is that if he quality of the posts are poor. I have little to no experience of appraisals so what good is my opinion?

Surely there must be a better way.

futureweb, out of curiosity what sites are you looking to sell, dont put the www. part otherwise u may break the rules

pugyrob i suppose i do understand the point of it, having the 20 posts probably does just enough to put people off who aren't actually interested in using the site for its actual purpose, i take back calling it silly.

Hi guys

I thought I would join the new posters club too :)

This will be my first post to get me up to 20...........

I have three working web sites for sale, they all have lots of potential for making more money.
I don't have time to develop the marketing at the moment.

I'm working on my merit badge too! Slowly getting there.

Re: the domain names posted before, anybody know whether Apple jumps on folks with ipod names? Seems like a clear trademark violation to me.

Oooh 'nother posting opportunity.

So, Miyagi, what are your domains? I'm a domain-a-holic :)

Hey - this makes 5 postings now.
These sites have been active for at least 5 years and are operational with the rankings, not just domain names.

When I get to 20 I'll place a proper for sale advert for the collection

I'm at 20 - woohoo!

Those are interesting domains. Amazing that a query for "put me up" would generate 5K uniques a month. The language has obviously changed a lot since I became an expat. Are these popular phrases in the UK now?

Funny thing, being based offshore, is that you lose all sense of where popular cultural references are at.

Hey, look at this. I get a nice shiny signature now that I've graduated!

(hey were'd it go?)

Hmmm ... is it working now?

(OK, I don't get my my signature isn't showing up. Anybody?)
