OK i get why its called domains

But why Acorn Domains?

is there something i'm missing here, or is it just a brand name?

It is just a brand name and when I set it up I had no idea it would grow this popular or I might have invested in something more generic.

I remember getting all excited then I reached 10 members :)

It is too well known now to change it.

It's called Acorn as my house is very close to a (reportedly) 1,000 year old oak tree that I can see from my window.

I didn't think Oaks could live that long but that's what the locals say.

Always reminds me of Acorn Antiques!

Maybe admin should rename to Mrs Overall!?

brand name, its certainly become that, but do you own DNforum.co.uk / domainforum.co.uk etc etc?

as they may have been available when you reg'd this domain

No they weren't, I dont recall anyway.

I will be redoing the logo etc soon so that the branding goes beyond just the name and the forum look isnt so generic. It wont be a radical change though, just the logo and some colours.
