Started to use WhyPark this week.
profits aside ... it's fairly easy to use and does what I was already doing on my niche sites (manually)
If your a non-developer, using parking sites, it's worth a try.

Anyone have comments on performance on WhyPark (since I am in week 1 only)

Thanks

Hi

Yes I have around 40 domains with Whypark.

15 domains have been setup for around 9 months and the others gradually added over the last 4 months or so.

As for revenue - under £1.

I have spoke with Kelly ( Whypark Staff ) and added a custom page on some of the sites as she suggessted.

I have not really had any luck with them to be honest, but at the same time i have just set them up and left them and have not really added the domains to search engines ect.

As for setting them up, yes you are right they are easy and ideal for quickly getting onto the web.

I have actually just move some domains away today to myaffsite.co.uk which I saw on a post in here.

I wish you luck with Whypark and please let me know who your domains go.

Regards

Gav

Thanks Gav

I have had about the same luck on sedo.

Atleast on WhyPark I feel like I have more control over the parked pages.
Too bad performace doesn't sound any better

I think if you've got domains that were not getting traffic on a "normal" parking service, they won't do a lot better on WhyPark (you might see some improvement if they get indexed or are in a low-competition niche)

As you say, the benefit of WP is that you can do something about it - add more content, put some affiliate/shopping widgets on, create links, submit the sitemap to search engines.... etc

I've been a bit disappointed too, last few weeks. Got about 30 domains up there and only earned about $3. But I think you have to think of it as a long-term project - think 3-6 months maybe. That's how long people reckon it takes a new website to gain traction (there are obviously exceptions of course, it's just a rule of thumb)

HTH

Cheers, Jon

I was dissapointed with parked when I switched and tested poor sites I had on SEDO for 2 months. They went from bad (only a few cents a day) to worse (no income at all for 2 weeks)?

I agree these things take time, but to go suddenly bone dry with zero revenue ... I gave up and switched back.

I am testing these again on WhyPark and hope with some on the better flexibility I CAN make a difference (even slight)

There's plenty been written - try using the search.

Yea there's a huge thread on NP with a very helpful little "community" (we're not allowed to link to other forums, but it's easy to find :) )

Cheers, Jon
