I'm still on windows 7, I don't like change.
Are you going for a Windows 10 upgrade?
You can supposedly force an update here....

I tried it a few times, says it's downloaded ok but fails to install so gave up.
So I have just managed to get it all working.
After finally getting the install to work it first chucked up loads of error messages when hitting the desktop. I had to restart.
It then loaded as a black screen, luckily I was able to get to the task manager. Through that I managed to boot up in safe mode and sort it out. Even after all that I had to manually sort out my graphics card drivers etc.
I hate to think how non savvy computer users all around the world are handling problems like this...
As the *official* roll out dosen't begin until tomorrow, are you sure its a legit, up to date copy?
The official rollout started today, at 5am UK time.
