Woohoo - I made a sale!!!

I know I'm getting over excited but I totally suck at affiliate marketing - so much so that I decided to contact and have a good long chat with a rather more successful affiliate marketer.

The result was that yesterday I made some slight changes (mainly to the colour scheme) of my diamond necklaces website and today I sold a £175 item with a £25 commission.

I hope that's the start of things to come!!

well done,there certainly is a knack in affiliate marketing and a4u forum have some interesting members who would point you in the right direction,"small acorns grow mighty oaks" excuse the pun but you always have a starting point and lets hope you make a good few quid from it.

I remember getting my very first paid click, it was 25p and I was so pleased coz it opened my eyes to a new way of making a living !

I've been trying affiliate marketing on & off for a while &the most Iwas making was a few pence to a quid a couple of times a week - if that.

I don't think affiliate marketing is for everyone, which sadly I think includes me.

like the look of this site,i would darken the text a touch slightly because it makes it look a smidge washed out.

Aff marketing is defiently a long ball game, you need to percivere at it but the rewards are huge.

Congrats on your first sale, it a good one as well. I think my first sale was about a 20p commision. lol.

Woo hoooo - Also got my first sale

After my site being live for just under 2 weeks i have my first sale....I am delighted..

It is nice to see the work I am doing is worthwhile....

Gonna start pushing in new content and work on another soon...

Wow, I'm surprised people would spend that amount over the net on a necklace.

I remember buying my missus a £500 chain from the shop, and the shop worker (well fit) was wearing it for me and doing the hard sale (making the diamond wobble between her breasts!)

Well worth the visit

Both this and the OP's site are really nice looking sites, well done both.

However for some constructive criticism I'd point out that the homepage of the mattress site is littered with spelling and grammar errors, if I were a customer I'd be clicking that back button in seconds.

Just in the first few paragraphs:

"identified some if the best offers"
"look no furthur"
"If you the size"
"is to large"
