woolies has been struggling for years,if it's anything like our local woolies then it should have been shutdown years ago,it takes you about an hour to get through the checkout because there is only two old women serving the whole of the store.....dohhh

Woolies has got battered for years by Tesco and other companies taking chunks of their market share. But yet they never did anything about it or ever changed!?! So from where Im sitting it is no suprise and probably deserved (I used to love woolies when I was a kid!! )

As for the government....same old shit really!

Yeah, Woolies was a fantastic shop about 20 years ago. They then seemed to go through a large number of store closures and never seemed to move with the times.

They probably tried to enter the on-line and catalogue markets far too late, when companies like Tesco, Amazon, Argos, Toys'r'us etc were bigger, better and more established.

I wish it is going to drop but going by the fact that even a small company I dealt with which was liquidated and had just any old three letter .co.uk, the domain was the main focus for the liquidators for them
