Hello all,

I have recently been developing some tools for myself to aid with scanning drop lists and was wondering if for one tool in particular it would be worth my while releasing it publicly for a small fee.

At the moment the tool has two distinct and unique features when scanning a list of one or more suspended domains:

  • Find out which domains are already back-ordered at different public catchers (Domain Monster, Daily, Heart Internet etc).
  • Find comparable sales including price, date and source.

Of course the standard metrics like search volume etc are included as well.

I would only charge a low fee to this tool and add others as I develop them so perhaps a subscription based model could work?

Your views are greatly appreciated in advance.

Many thanks,
Dave

Yeah perhaps just a one off low fee for access to the tool(s) then.

Are there are any other features that would be a useful addition? How about an end user lead generator?

I think just a couple of more features would justify a respectable price.

Domain DropCatch List
Backorders
Comparable Sales

One fee with free upgrades for x amount of time. Thereafter annual upgrade fee.

Excellent thanks for your input mate.

+ End user lead generator. :)

Yes, one low fee - with optional annual updates.

Or lifetime subscription fee for all?

So your tool would scan the few thousand domains dropping every day and check to see which are back ordered at domain monster?

Is that possible?

I'm in if it is :)

Yes that's one part of it :). It won't show you a list (you will need to enter a list of domains) but it will tell you where those domains are backordered. :D

I don't use a lot if software for things like this, but I think I'd use this :)

I have a sample of the tool up and running. If anyone would like it please PM. I did put it up publicly but didn't want it to be abused.
