I have the above domain and wondered if it is worth selling as a simple domain or building a small site for it first.

I would build a site mate, this only a brandable and would be better to sell to an insurance company once you have it ranked for certain terms.

Good luck getting it ranked for the term insurance

As the name is not generic enough trying to get it listed high enough would really be hard work (unless you did some sort of adwords, thousands of links etc etc I would say impossible) Sometimes things that we think mean something to us mean nothing to search engines…? I’d move on and try and find a more generic word to earn some cash from…
