My gf as an injured Blackbird in her back garden and evertime she goes near it to try and help it about 7 other Blackbirds above start flying to her and sqawking, She's just been on the phone and walked out to the bird and I heard them trying to get her :lol: lol

ps* I don't think the bird being injured is funny

is it injured or a young one who hasn't mastered the art of flight yet?

She said it's bones are sticking out of it's back, her freind has took it to an RSPCA centre, they will probably put it down though because it's in a bad way

Not so funny now, I don't like animals suffering for nothing, when she rang me I thought it was just a minor injury but her friend to a close look and it's not good.

Sounds nasty, but she might be mistaking young feathers that haven't dried and split, for bones. They can look kind of skeletal.

She wouldn't go near it so didn't see it proper but her friend looked and said it's soaked in blood.

Doesn't look good mate :-|
