    Soundbars any good?

I bought a Samsung one last year for a couple of hundred quid. Massive improvement on the tinny sound you get from the tv speakers One thing to watch out for, make sure it has enough hdmi inputs for the sound to pass through. Most only have 1, 2 if you're lucky, which is fine if all you have...

Are you sure about that, or did you just make that up because it fits your argument? there are many examples of land being bought and resold not based on market value, but based on the potential of what a developer can do with it. It wasn't long ago that we were reading about people buying...

good idea. lets make all those farmers and land owners do the same. And the people who make Fifa 13 that I went out to buy yesterday; why is that game so much more expensive than the others at Christmas.. we should make them sell it cheaper. Can I come round to your house and have a look in...

so in summary: you admit to having no knowledge of domaining but you think Edwin has too many domains (7,000 ish I believe) and they are priced too high (often £x,xxx+) so either you are wrong and naive, or you have a point. so, what is your opinion then of Frank Schilling, he's a well known...

    .uk .UK Announced

I have a question, maybe a dumb question, but I'll ask it anyway. Why is Nominet holding a consultation in the first place.. are they obliged to? I can think of other registries that do nothing of the sort, they make their changes/new implementations etc, and don't consult with anyone...

    .uk .UK Announced

watching the chair of that meeting, it seemed obvious that this is a done deal. He seemed genuinely open; and when said they were doing this to stay competitive in the face of the onslaught of new extns; then I must say I think I believe him. Extra dosh for nom and notoriety I think are...

some existing ccTLD registries have that rule in place today, but there is always a way around it. i.e. to sell a company that contains 1 asset e.g. the domain name. It's a lot more expensive sure, but the point is, it doesn't prevent it happening.

    .uk .UK Announced

indeed. so let me add my on-topic view. The introduction of .uk IMO is already a done deal. You don't go this far in the process without knowing that already. So the consultation then is actually just "how", not "if" this will be done. I applaud the efforts here, but I have to say...
