    Thanks for the kind words - just thought I'd pick you up on the expensive part though because I think we're one of the cheapest in the UK for 2 year .uk registrations. :) We're £5.58 plus VAT for two years on .uk domains, 123-reg are £6.98 plus VAT. Hope that helps.

    Our domains manager (Dan) is currently working with Nominet to track down exactly what happened here and what's gone wrong. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of it but it seems definitely like there's a loophole of some kind in Nominet's system to allow this.

    We are charging the same for .uk as we do for .co.uk (£4.49 plus VAT for single year, £2.79 plus VAT per year for two years or more). Just as a caveat, make sure that whoever you do register with doesn't charge for transfers out - there are a few that do now which is a shame.
