1&1 domain price increase

1&1 Ltd appreciate your account and we hope that you are happy with the
services we provide you.

We are writing today to inform you that it has become necessary for us to
increase the rates for some domains due to price increases by the domain
registries.

In order to stay competitive and continue to offer you excellent services,
we had to review our pricing structure in accordance with the changes in
the industry.


For domain renewals and orders as of 3 September 2007, the following domain
rates will apply:


* .uk domains will be increased from £1.99 to £2.99 per year



this is quite a % rise..

.uk's are still £5 per 2 years each wholesale.

Surely, if 1&1 were selling at £1.99 per year then they'd be losing cash
