I've got to say mate, your about page is very likely to make web users nav away and lose you sales, they come to your site in good spirit thinking yeah I'm going to have a laugh and dress up as them 118 guys and then you come across as having an attitude, probably not your intention but that's how it comes across.

I once went to an aquarium site to buy a tank etc, I clicked on tanks to get a page saying (in big letters) NO NO NO WE DON'T SELL FISH TANKS !!!!! I found it very offensive :twisted:

Needless to say I bought elsewhere :|

As for 118 costumes, yes they're a laugh but I personally wouldn't spend my money and my time promoting someone elses business, I reckon you will sell some though, maybe get a link on a running forum because people could use them for marathons

Funny site and perhaps a nice little niche
I dont find the about page offensive like doodlebug does, Usually things like this are written with wit and it goes with the whole thing i think,
Firebox like to write there product descriptions like this and it comes across light hearted and fun

Perhaps add more colour - its a bit white and corporate right now

Yes I was thinking that, they shouldn't bother though because the site is only promoting their business, but yes they probably will complain :|
