I had a domain caught and the IPS changed to 123-reg. I then want it to appear in my control panel. I try to transfer in but it says it is already with 123-reg.
I have contacted 123-reg twice now with no response (predictable i know) but I assume there is nothing I can do?

I had the same thing happen with UKREG. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think there is anything you can do other than get the previous owner to push it to your account. UKREG gave me the previous owners details to get in touch with them. I personally thought this was a bit of cheek really and what harm would it do for them transfer it into the rightful owners a/c anyway?

It's a pain believe me, do you have any other way of administering the name via different nameservers? Or at worst just transfer it to another host via Nominet.

The name is registered to me. It was caught in my name and the catcher changed the IPS to 123-reg, but how do I get it in my control panel?

Email 123, ask them to delete the current database entry so that you can transfer it into your account.

Bingo, job done.

thanks firestars, but i would never use the term bingo job done with 123-reg.
more like 58 games of bingo and they might read the first of 5 emails sent! :D

More emails sent and my domain is still sitting in limbo!
123-reg are f'ing useless. please do quote me on that.
Will have to try heart from now on.
