Anyone know how long it takes for 123-reg to process a tag change?

It can vary from almost immediate and up to 24 hours. In my experience it seems to help if you notify the recipient registrar soon after you have initiated the TAG change.

My name is Nerys, I work for 123 Reg.

Tag changes will normal complete and the domain name transfer within 24 hours. However some registrars operate a "Handshake" system. With these the registrar you are moving to will need to accept the the change and these can take up to 5 days. You would need to check this with the registrar you are moving to.

If you have any concerns about the Tag change you can send me the domain or a support ticket ID and I will happily look into this for you.

Depends on who the receiving registrar is - some 123-reg wont even accept, same with Heart. Personal tags are sometimes not accepted.

Worth checking it's actually been accepted, in my opinion and experience. Good luck popcorn
